Am 18. April 2026 feierte die Deutsche Gesellschaft für Photographie (DGPh) ihr 75-jähriges Bestehen. Aus diesem Anlass waren Fotografinnen und Fotografen weltweit eingeladen, an genau diesem Tag ein einziges Bild aufzunehmen.
Ort, Motiv und Stil waren frei wählbar. Entscheidend war allein der Augenblick. Ob analog oder digital, geplant oder spontan, dokumentarisch oder inszeniert – die eingereichten Arbeiten fügen sich zu einem kollektiven Porträt eines einzigen Tages in der Geschichte der Fotografie.

On 18 April 2026, the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Photographie (DGPh) celebrated its 75th anniversary. To mark the occasion, photographers around the world were invited to take a single image on this one day.
Location, subject and style were entirely free. What mattered was the moment itself. Analogue or digital, planned or spontaneous, documentary or staged – together the submissions form a collective portrait of a single day in the history of photography.
